The US Pathway

US football scholarships for UK players

For players who want to combine football with an education in America. Depending on age and timing, that means a US high-school place after GCSEs, or staying in the UK through sixth form or college and moving into the US college and university system - where it is called soccer - from around eighteen.

We give an honest assessment of what is realistic, build the player's profile, and put them in front of US college coaches. No scholarship is ever guaranteed, and we will tell you that before anyone else does.

US scholarship questions we are asked most

What is the US pathway?+

It supports players who want to combine football with their education in America. Depending on age, circumstances and timing, that might be a US high-school opportunity after GCSEs, or staying in the UK through sixth form or college and entering the US college or university system from around eighteen.

When should we start?+

About eighteen months before the intended start date. That gives time to assess the player properly, strengthen the profile, gather quality footage, attend the right showcases and identify realistic programmes. Starting later is possible but narrows the options.

What is the first step?+

Send us the player's age, position, current club and level, location, footage and latest academic information. We then speak with the player and family, complete an initial assessment, and explain which opportunities look realistic.

What happens after the assessment?+

If there is a suitable pathway we set up a Locker Room profile and support the player continuously โ€” through showcases, profile development, coach conversations, admissions and eligibility.

What does the Locker Room do?+

It is where the player's profile lives and keeps evolving. They update their football CV, full-match and highlight footage, playing statistics, current club and level, and academic results. That lets us follow their development and means their football and academic information is current when we present them to US schools, colleges and coaches.

What are US coaches actually looking for?+

The required technical and physical ability, certainly. But they place considerable importance on attitude, character, work ethic, coachability, maturity and academic performance โ€” and those are often what decides it.

What opportunities can it lead to?+

Depending on the player's profile, a high-school opportunity or recruitment interest from an NCAA, NAIA or junior-college programme โ€” with potential athletic, academic or combined scholarship and financial-aid support.

Is a scholarship guaranteed?+

No. No scholarship or placement can be guaranteed, and anyone telling you otherwise is selling something. What we provide is an honest assessment, continuous support, and access to the strongest realistic opportunities for that player.

Is it only America?+

The focus is the US pathway, but we can also consider suitable UK and European routes where they are the better fit for the player.
